Juan Carlos Garcia (ITA) won Friday’s biggest class at CSI4* Poznan riding Gitano v Berkenbroeck (Nabab de Reve x Ti Amo van het Lambroeck).
It was a 1.50m class counting for the Longines Ranking, with a jump-off, and eleven riders qualified for the shortened round – six of them cleared the course once more. Garcia speeded through the jump-off in 37.24 seconds, 1.5 seconds faster than runner-up Doron Kuipers (NED) with Theoreme du Desir (Calvaro x Laudanum) that crossed the finish line in 38,99 seconds.
Home rider Marek Lewicki (POL) made the crowd happy taking the third place riding the gelding Abigej (Lupicor x Concorde).
He was followed by his compatriot Jaroslaw Skrzyczynski with Calevo 2 (Casall x Levantos I) in fourth place. USA and Great Britain ended 5th and 6th, courtesy of Katie Dinan on Dougie Douglas (ARD VDL Douglas x High Roller) and Jamie Gornall on Carsten (Cassini I x Quinar Z).
