Thursday’s CSI4* 1.50m Prix Vilamoura Classic at the 2025-edition of Longines Deauville Classic in France went to the hosts’ Kevin Staut and the 9-year-old mare Kannonqulan (Kannan x Quantum).
With a time of 62.36 seconds, the current world no. 15 took the win ahead of Victor Bettendorf (LUX) and Doha de Riverland (Nabab de Reve x Quaprice Boimargo Quincy) in second in 63.62 – besting a field of 89 horse-and-rider combinations.
Marc Dilasser (FRA) and Arioto du Gevres (Diamant de Semilly x Qualisco III) placed third in 63.91 seconds, followed by Nicolas Sers (FRA) and Eleven de Riverland (Kannan x Diamant de Semilly) in fourth and Philippe Rozier (FRA) aboard Dirty Sweet (Cornet Obolensky x Lavillon) in fifth.
