At CSI3* Redefin, Germany's Michael Kölz won Friday's 1.45 Big Tour. Riding the 12-year-old FST Dipylon (Dinglinger x Lavall I), Kölz repeated his winnigmood from last year's edition of the event. “I was aiming for a place in the top three and it went according to plan,” said the winner of the Bauunternehmung Drewke Prize. Sebastian Elias, also representing Germany, finished second with Luwina P (Ludwig von Bayern x Landsieger). Third place went to an international superstar: Swedish rider Rolf-Göran Bengtsson with Oak Grove's Heartfelt (Heartbreaker x Rubens du Ri d'Asse D'96).
Saturday's 1.50 Championat von Lübzer, also a competition in the Big Tour, was won by Japan's Daisuke Fukushima on Messenger (Montender x Baloubet du Rouet). Fukushima currently trains with Paul Schockemöhle in Germany, and said: "I had a bit pressure on me, as my coach told me that Messenger won the competition last year with Philip Rüping.“ 0.9 seconds behind the winner followed Germany's Holger Wulschner on BSC Cha Cha Cha (Casall x Le Grand I), while also third and fourth place fell into German hands courtesy of Felix Hassmann on Horse Gym's Quali Quanti (Quidam de Revel x Non Stop) and Meredith Michaels-Beerbaum on Comanche 28 ( Coupe de Coeur x Baloubet du Rouet).
