Edited press release from Hubside Jumping
As last to go in Saturday's CSI4* 1.45m jump-off class at Hubside Jumping in Grimaud, France, Laura Kraut (USA) and the 8-year-old mare Bisquetta (Bisquet Balou van de Mispelaere x Takashi van Berkenbroeck) snatched the victory from their twelve competitors that had qualified for the second round against the clock.
In the Hubside Jumping arena, the American took the win ahead of two young talents; Mégane Moissonnier (FRA), who finished second with Bracadabra (Pacific des Essarts x Couleur Rubin), and Britain's Harry Charles, who came third with Aralyn Blue (Chacco-Blue x Ludwig AS).
“Bisquetta is only eight years old and I couldn't be happier with her progress, especially here in St Tropez," Kraut said after her victory. "We were already second last Sunday in the CSI3* Grand Prix, which was our second class at 1.50m level. This week I chose to put her in slightly smaller classes and she is perfect, still very fast. I think she loves what she does."
Marlon Modolo Zanotelli (BRA) and Heureuse Nouvelle WH (Cardento 933 x Indoctro) took the fourth place, while fifth went to Edward Levy (FRA) and Sirius Black (Calisco du Pitray x Laudanum).
