Lily Attwood and Cor-Leon v. Vlierbeek Z (Calvaro F.C. x Omar) won Sunday's CSI4* 1.55m Grand Prix GL Events in Fontainebleau, France.
Four horse-and-rider combinations out of the 48 starters cleared the first round, and only the top two managed to produce a double clear result. With a time of 36.25, Attwood took home the win ahead of Olivier Perreau (FRA) on GL Events Venizia d'Aiguilly, who had to settle for the runner-up position when the clock stopped on 36.33 seconds for the French rider.
Edward Levy (FRA) on Uno De Cerisy (Open Up Semilly x Siego) placed third with four faults, but the fastest time of the jump-off – 35.98. With eight faults in the jump-off, Alexa Ferrer (FRA) on Uranie de Belcour (Flipper d'Elle x Diamant de Semilly) placed fourth, while Philippe Leoni (FRA) on Uhlan Okkomut (Mylord Carthago x Eclair des Bois) took the fifth place after missing out on the jump-off with a single time penalty in round one.
