McLain Ward and HH Carlos (Chellano Z x Voltaire) came out as winners of the two-round 1.50 class in Knokke Saturday evening. The American combination had by far the best time in the second round and crossed the finishline 1,25 seconds ahead of on-form home rider Nicola Philippaerts and the nine-year-old H&M Harley Vd Bisschop (Dulf van den Bisschop x Coronado). Third place went to Lorenza de Luca and Stephex Stables’ Limestone Grey (by Try-Time).

Earlier in the evening Francois Mathy Jr secured another Belgian win as he and Polinska des Isles (Diamant de Semilly x Valespoir Malabry) was the only combination to produce two clear rounds in the 1.45 class. Mathy won ahead of another Belgian rider, Jeroen Appelen, while Marie Hecart (FRA) came third.
