Last weekend he won the European-Youngster-Cup in Jakubowice, this weekend he went to the top in the CSI3* Grand Prix there; Maximilian Schmid has been on fire the two last weeks. In Sunday's Grand Prix the German rider was aboard Chacon 2 (Chacco-Blue x Aventyno) and was the only rider to produce a double clear round in this Grand Prix that saw nine of 34 riders moving on to round two.
New Zealand's Bruce Goodin took the second place on Centina 10 (Cento x Argentinus), with four faults in the first round and a fast clear in the second. Norway's John Gunvar Knutsen ended third on Zip (Numero Uno x Cavalier) after a clear first round and four faults in in the second.
