Nicolas Pizarro (MEX) and the 11-year-old Enkidu (Ensor vdh Pleville x Quidam de Revel) took the top honours in this weekend's CSI4* 1.55m Grand Prix in Lerma, Mexico – a class that was dominated by the home riders.
After delivering the only double clear, Pizarro was the best out of the three riders that had qualified for the jump-off. With four faults and a time of 42.33 seconds in the jump-off, Jose Alberto Martinez Vazquez (MEX) and Quinley (Quintero x Calato) followed in the runner-up position ahead of Miguel Angel Torres Hernandez (MEX) and Chacendra (Chacco-Blue x Dobel's Cento) that had a time of 45.68.
Fourth place went to Carlos Rodolfo Molina Gordillo (MEX) with Trebon de la Nutria (Quidam de Revel x Caprice d'Elle II) after the two recorded one time penalty in the first round, while Patricio Pasquel (MEX) and Babel (Billy du Lys x High Flyer) placed fifth as the fastest four-faulters in round one.
