Niklas Krieg made it a home win in the CSI3* Grand Prix in Offenburg riding the 13-year-old mare Carella (Clearway x Concerto 4).
49 combinations came to start in the 1,55m class. Nine riders were clear and qualified for the jump-off, where five riders produced another clear round. Fastest of them all was Krieg, who now can drive home in a new car.
Jörg Oppermann (GER) and Che Guevara (Concept x Rebel Z) were runners-up only slightly faster than Romain Duguet (SUI) who ended third with Sherazade du Gevaudan (Tinka’s Boy x Iago). Fourth place went to Michael Whitaker (GBR) with Jb’s Hot Stuff (Locarno 62 x Cavalier Royale) while Philip Rüping (GER) and Clinta (Clinton x Lord Pezi) ended fifth.
