Friday’s CSI4* 1.50m class against the clock in Vilamoura, Portugal was won by Olivier Guillon (FRA) with Vitot du Chateau (Toulon x Kannan). Guillon and the 11-year-old gelding took a fast win after stopping the clock at 67.78 seconds – 0.32 seconds ahead of Michael Pender (IRL) with Hhs Burnchurch (Heritage Fortunus x Cavalier Royale) in runner-up position.
The class had 73 starters and 14 of them cleared the course. The third fastest time among the clears was delivered by Jack Whitaker (GBR) with Scenletha (Scendix x Contendra I), followed by Michel Hecart (FRA) with Solero MS (Silvio I x Espri) in fourth and David Will (GER) with Quentucky Jolly (Nirvana V x unknown) in fifth.
