Sunday’s CSI3* 1.50m Grand Prix presented by Oliva Nova Beach & Golf Resort concluded the second week of competition at Spring MET I 2025 at Centro Ecuestre Oliva Nova in Spain.
Thirteen out of the 52 horse-and-rider combinations at start cleared the first-round track set by France’s Gregory Bodo – the co-course designer for last summer’s Paris Olympic Games – and joined the deciding jump-off, where Olivier Robert (FRA) and the 12-year-old Iglesias D.V. (Quasimodo van de Molendreef - Labor's VDL Indorado) posted the winning time of 39.06 seconds.
Jörne Sprehe (GER) and Sprehe Hot Easy (Andiamo Z x Otangelo) took the runner-up spot after clocking a time of 39.69 seconds, while Brice Grugeon (FRA) and Do It de Clamens (Malito de Reve x Crown Z) placed third in 39.80, followed by Niall Talbot (IRL) and Charming Dream Z (Carrera VDL x Cagliostro161) in fourth in 40.29 and Malin Baryard-Johnsson (SWE) aboard Hennessy (Hogwart x Piano II) in fifth in 40.71.
Spring MET I continues with one more week of competition, followed by MET II in February, MET III in March and MET IV in April.
