Piergiorgio Bucci (ITA) and the 11-year-old gelding Cochello (Casall x Cartani 4) bested a field of 98-horse-and-rider combinations in Wednesday's CSI4* 1.50m against the clock in Vilamoura. With their time of 62.97 seconds, the pair was by far the fastest in the class.
Following in runner-up position were Jack Whitaker (GBR) and Scenletha (Scendix x Contendra I) with a time of 64.26 seconds, while third place went to Bryan Balsiger (SUI) and Jenkins Ter Doorn (Numero Uno x Sir Lui) that stopped the clock at 64.65 seconds. Michael Duffy (IRL) and Jeff Ten Halven (Toulon x Crown Z) took fourth place, while fifth when to Robert Smith (GBR) and Ilton (Dulf van den Bisschop x Calvaro).
