Pierre Marie Friant (FRA) finished up on top of the podium in Friday’s CSI4* 1.50m class at Hubside Jumping in St. Tropez, France. In a class that saw 15 horse-and-rider combinations qualify for the jump-off, Friant was the fastest of one off the four that went clear for a second time.

Riding Urdy d’Astree (Bouffon du Murier*Janssen x Pamphile), Friant crossed the finish line in 38.44 seconds – more than three seconds faster than runner-up Ann Carton-Grootjans (BEL) with Kai Licha de Carmel (Prince van de Wolfsakker x Quidam de Revel).

Paolo Paini (ITA) followed in third with Konstop (Fierro Hof Ter Zeedycke x Toulon) ahead of Emiliano Liberati (ITA) with Davarusa (Zavall VDL x Chin Chin) and Guillaume Foutrier (FRA) with Valdocco des Caps (Number One d’Iso x Quidam de Revel).
