At Club Hípico Coapexpan in Mexico, Brazil's Rodrigo Lambre and the 10-year-old mare Take-Off Diara PS (Taloubet Z x Diarado) delivered the only double clear to win Saturday’s CSI5* 1.60m Grand Prix of Coapexpan. Only two riders out of the twenty in the class produced clear rounds to move on to the jump-off, where Lambre emerged as the winner on a score of zero and a time of 42.59 seconds. Argentina's Ignacio Maurin and Conchado (Conthargos x Chacco-Blue) finished second with four faults in the jump-off, and a time of 42.73.
Mexico's Alejandro Mills and Bretzel du Marais (Quaprice Bois Margot x Diamant de Semilly) completed the podium on four faults from round one, followed by compatriot Arturo Parada Vallejo on Mon Faut-Tren (Comme Il Faut 5 x Cardento) in fourth and Ireland's Cian O'Connor on Bentley de Sury (Sunday de Riverland x Calvaro) in fifth – also they on a score of four faults from round one.
