The CSI3* in beautiful Megeve, France, saw a home rider on top of Sunday’s Grand Prix as Simon Delestre and Chesall Zimequest (Casall x Concerto 4) went to the top.
The Longines Ranking class counted 55 riders, and only four qualified for the jump-off that turned out to be a French battle for the win. Delestre took a comfortable victory though as the other riders were not able to keep the fences intact. Nicolas Deseuzes and Quilane De Lezeaux (Grenat de Grez x Page de Paulstra) ended second with four faults with 1,83 seconds ahead of number three Charlotte Castaldi and Rolf Des Grez (Diamant de Semilly x Laudanum).
Julien Gonin and Soleil De Cornu CH (Qredo de Paulstra Le Toto de Semilly) ended fourth with eight faults in the jump-off and fifth place went to Guillaume Delhaye (SUI) and Richebour De Cartigny (Richebourg x Quidam de Revel) with four faults from the first round.
