Steve Guerdat (SUI) took yet another victory at the Andalucía Sunshine Tour on Saturday, when topping the CSI4* 1.45m Small Grand Prix which counted for the world ranking. Riding the 9-year-old Dynamix de Belheme (Snaike de Blondel x Cornet Obolensky), Guerdat bested a field of 73 riders in the biggest class of the day – jumped in the stunning Hickstead grass ring.
No less than 23 horse-and-rider combinations made it to the jump-off in this class, but no one could do anything about Guerdat who delivered a double clear in 40.61 seconds. Following in runner-up position was Max Kühner (AUT) on Vancouver Dreams (Valentino x Stakkato), in 40.69 seconds, while third place went to Lucas Porter (USA) on E Clinton (Clinton x Kojak) with a time of 41.47 in the jump-off.
Thibaut Keller (SUI) finished fourth with Arley de Vayrie (Padock Du Plessis x Quite Easy), while fifth went to Yuri Mansur (BRA) on Away Semilly (Diamant de Semilly x Watzmann).
