French rider Adeline Hecart finished the Champions Tour in Vilamoura in the best possible way when she went to the top in Friday's 3* CSI Grand Prix, sponsored by the Câmara Municipal of Loulé. Riding Pasha du Gue (Dollar de la Pierre x Darco), Hecart was the only rider to produce a clear in the first round - preventing a jump-off in this 1.50 competition that counted over 70 riders.
Second place went to Celine Schoonbroodt de Azevedo from Belgium, riding Bardine (Baloubet du Rouet x Continue) with one time fault around the track. That was also the case for Great Britain's James Smith who finished third on Tyson Uno (Tyson x Grosso Z).
