The world’s best horses and riders are heading for the CSI5* event in Al Shaqab this week.

On the list of riders is world no. one Daniel Deusser, who gets company from his compatriots Christian Ahlmann and Marcus Ehning. Kevin Staut is one of the top riders from France while John and Michael Whitaker as well as Scott Brash come from Great Britain. Other top names include Australia’s Edwina Tops-Alexander, Belgium’s Gregory Wathelet, Switzerland’s Steve Guerdat as well as home heroes Sheikh Ali Bin Khalid Al Thani and Bassem Hassan Mohammed.
