This week, Desert International Horse Park, in Thermal, California, hosts its second of two weeks of CSI5* competitions with Desert Holiday 2 taking place between 9-14 December 2025. The Desert Holiday 2 event is also the 7th leg of this year's Major League Show Jumping, and will in addition to the CSI5* classes feature CSI2* competitions. The highlight of the week will be the $340,000 CSI5* 1.60m Grand Prix, jumped on Saturday 13th December.

On the entry list are many of America's best riders, including McLain Ward, Laura Kraut and Jessica Springsteen, who will get competition from the likes of FEI U25 leading rider Nina Mallevaey (FRA), as well as big names such as Conor Swail (IRL) and Daniel Bluman (ISR), and young talent like Alex Matz (USA) and Jeanne Sadran (FRA).
