Just one week after his first Grand Prix win in six years at Jumping de Achterhoek, the Netherlands’ Michael Greeve won another Grand Prix with his 12-year-old mare Whitney BB (Nabab de Rêve x Calido I). Greeve and his homebred mare won the CSI2* Grand Prix of Roosendaal, and again beat the young Danish rider Martin Dinesen Neergaard. A week after their third spot at Jumping de Achterhoek, Martin Dinesen Neergaard and John Whitaker’s former ride Woulon L (Toulon x Ramiro) became the runners-up in Roosendaal. Australia’s Jessica Brown and the Australian bred Equus Echo (Vivant x Calvaro Z) finished third at PSC Den Goubergh in Roosendaal.

The Belgian rider Stefan Corten took the victory in the CSI2* Grand Prix of Lier with the 10-year-old For Pleasure-son Flinstone van ‘t Eigenlo. Corten was the only one who could keep the fences up in the jump-off and won the class finishing with one time penalty. Jamal Rahimov from Azerbaijan and the Belgian bred stallion Excenel V (Thunder van de Zuuthoeve x Landetto) got one rail in the jump-off, but set the fastest time in 38.91 seconds. The Norwegian rider Espen Johansen and the only 8-year-old Clouseau van de Helle Z (Canturo x Cantus) took the third spot in 4/43.26.

It was a home-win for France’s Olivier Guillon with the 9-year-old Serise du Bidou (Gin Tonic Star x Fusain du Defy x) at CSI2* Le Mans. Guillon gained 6125 euro with his win on the Selle Français-mare. The Spanish rider Eduardo Blanco took the second money, finishing as the runner-up with the only 8-year-old gelding Cincinnati Schuttershof (Canturo x Kashmir van Schuttershof). Great Britain’s Emily Hilton took the third spot on the Dutch bred Assy Sina (Concorde x Flemmingh). The French riders Jean Baptiste Horiot and Mathieu Billot took the fourth and fifth positions.

Spain’s Teresa Balzquez-Abascal took the CSI2* Grand Prix at the prestigious CSI5*-show in La Coruña. With the only 8-year-old Dutch bred Carola (Dutch Capitol x Goodtimes), Teresa Blazquez-Abascal turned out the be faster than the Portuguese riders Joao Pedro Gomes with Ame Moi O Sandor (Elan de la Cour x Prince Ig’Or x) and Duarte Seabra with Fernhill Curra Quinn (Harlequin du Carel x Clover Hill).
