At the traditional pre-Christmas show Internationales Festhallen Reitturnier Frankfurt 2023, Tim Rieskamp-Goedeking (GER) and the 14-year-old Coldplay (Chacco-Blue x Pilox) took a popular home win in Friday evening's CSI4* 1.45m Championat of Frankfurt – the FRAPORT Prize.
As the second pair out in the jump-off in this Grand Prix qualifier, the 41-year-old delivered a perfect round to stop the clock at 32.81 seconds – taking the win in the Championat of Frankfurt for the second year in a row. “The fact that it worked out like this here last year, and is starting the same way again this year – that shows the strength of Coldplay,” said Tim Rieskamp-Goedeking in a press release. “It’s unbelievable how he fights for me in this arena – it’s really fun with him.”
A total of 14 horse-and-rider combinations qualified for the jump-off, six of whom remained clear against the clock. Omer Karaevli (TUR) and Avant Toi (Flyinge Quite Easy x Narcos II) finished second, 1.5 seconds slower than Rieskamp-Goedeking, while Edward Levy (FRA) took third on Catchar Mail (Diamant de Semilly x Calvaro) with a time of 35.22 seconds. Two German riders completed the top five; Stephan Naber and Cyber Zirkeline NRW (Comme il faut x Phantom) in fourth, followed by Emilia Löser and Noah de Kalvarie (Ustinov x Almox Prints J) in fifth.
