Titouan Schumacher and the 11-year-old mare Carera des Brimbelles (Kannan x Henaud) won Sunday's CSI4* 1.55m Grand Prix presented by A&M Sporthorses at Sentower Park, Belgium.
Fifty horse-and-rider combinations had qualified for the Grand Prix, and eleven of them managed to clear the 13-fence track set by Henk Linders to move on to the jump-off. Against the clock it was Schumacher who was the fastest, stopping the clock on 38.30 seconds.
Sanne Thijssen (NED) and her lovely 17-year-old stallion Con Quidam RB (Quinar Z x Cardino 5) gave Schumacher a run for the money though, when finishing only 0.03 seconds behind. The third place went to Michael Cristofoletti (ITA) and Everest D.R (Darco x Kashmir van Schuttershof), with a time of 40.16 in the jump-off, followed by Adeline Lemens (FRA) and Austin des Cedres (Diamant de Semilly x Thoas du Theillet) in fourth in 40.22 and Bruno Garez and United Sunheup (Balougran x Brett Saint Clair) in fifth in 40.24.
