The CSI4* Sportland Salzburg Grand Prix presented by MUKI, at the 13th Amadeus Horse Indoors, went to Tobias Meyer (GER) and the 10-year-old mare Queentina (Coupe de Coeur x Quidam's Rubin).
Ten out of the 38 participating horse-and-rider combinations managed to produce clears over the 1.60m Grand Prix track, to move on to the jump-off. Against the clock, Stud Sprehe’s Tobias Meyer was the fastest with a clear round in 45.94 seconds – taking the first prize of 20.000 Euro. "I am proud to be able to ride in front of such a great audience,” Meyer said. “That I won here is my biggest success so far. I would also like to thank the Sprehe-family that provides this horse at my disposal. I've always said it's the best horse I've ever ridden, and I stand behind this even when things are not going so great as now. "
The second place in this Grand Prix, went to Wilm Vermeir (BEL) and his 10-year-old gelding Iq van het Steentje (Toulon x Kannan) after the pair stopped the clock at 47.30 seconds in the jump-off. Third place went to Emma Augier de Moussac (CZE) on her 10-year-old mare Diva (No Limit x Ticallux Verte), after the two clocked the time of 48.50 seconds.
