Stopping the clock on 39.81 seconds in a jump-off between thirteen horse-and-rider combinations, Funnell and Billy Picador took the top honours in the class counting for the Longines Ranking Group D ahead of Gerfried Puck (AUT) and Idiaal Special H.J. (Falaise De Muze x Carinjo) in second in 41.70. Jacob Hellström (SWE) and Sweet Sandra (Sandro Boy x Careful 28) placed in third in 42.35, while Matias Larocca (ARG) and Full Option van'T Zand (Flamingo K x Lord Z) finished fourth with a time of 43.16. Ismael Garcia Roque (ESP) aboard Tirano (Chacco-Blue x Action Breaker) completed the top five after clocking a time of 43.17 seconds.
