Saturday’s two 1.50 classes at the CSI3* event in Neumünster went to Felix Hassmann and Nicole Persson. Hassmann rode Cayenne WZ (Claudio x Ramirado) to victory in the Mercedes-Benz Cup from Süverkrüp + Ahrendt. “When you come here you know it’s going to be difficult,” said Hassmann, “that’s why I brought Cayenne with me. She hasn’t made any mistakes for weeks, she’s on the ball, and will hopefully go into the Grand Prix.” Second place went to another German rider; Maurice Tebbel on Sansibar (Stakkato Gold x Wolkenstein II) that was 0.53 behind Hassmann on the time in the winning round. Third place went to Dutchman Gert-Jan Bruggink and Vampire (Marome Nw x Voltaire).
The Preis der Performance Sales International went to Sweden’s Nicole Persson on Balounito (Balou du Rouet x Widolan). With the fastest time in the jump-off at 34.83 seconds, Persson left Germany’s Mario Stevens and Brooklyn 17 (Balou du Rouet x Rohlfing) behind her in runner-up position at 35.23 seconds. Third was Holger Wulschner on BC Cha Cha Cha (Casall x Le Grand I).
