Géraldine Straumann is looking for a highly experienced and dedicated home groom/stable manager to join our professional showjumping stable at SCHOU ABSOLUTE A/S in Southern Denmark.
This is a key position in an ambitious, international environment where you will be responsible for coordinating the daily operations and ensuring that the stable runs smoothly and efficiently. The role combines planning, leadership, and daily care of the horses.
Main responsibilities:
- Coordinate and organize daily routines, including staff schedules, holidays, and days off, in close cooperation with Géraldine Straumann and Team Manager Lars Pedersen.
- Ensure smooth communication, efficient task distribution, and high-quality standards in the daily operations.
- An overall responsibility for horses’ care and for the allocation and planning of the daily routines around the horses.
- Oversee veterinary-related tasks and maintain an overview of farriers, vaccinations, and horses’ health and care.
- Manage food/equipment orders and supplies for the stable.
- Actively participate in the daily stable work, while also taking the lead in planning and coordination when required.

- Working hours: 6-day work week, 07:00–16:00, including night check on a rotation basis.
