Studfarm Zangersheide is immediately looking for an employee to strengthen its breeding team!⁣

Every year about 50 foals are born at Studfarm Zangersheide in Lanaken. Together with the breeding team you are responsible for the entire breeding process; from insemination of the mare up to the moment the horses are broken in at the age of three and moved to the sport stable.⁣

Being responsible for a large group of horses automatically implies that you have a clear and structured overview of the entire breeding farm at all times. ⁣

You have a thorough command of the subject matter, know the horses and their specific needs, and leave nothing to chance. You keep meticulous records of the mare's charts with insemination dates, you provide birth control and are responsible for the daily care of the horses, never losing sight of vaccinations, deworming and appointments with the blacksmith and dentist.⁣

Besides the daily care of the horses, you are responsible for the pasture management and the purchase of hay. You will be in contact with the suppliers and always ensure the best quality.⁣

For this wide range of tasks you are of course supported by an experienced team and you have sufficient resources at your disposal to keep the breeding farm running at the highest level with the general welfare of the horses of Studfarm Zangersheide as your main goal.⁣
