The Global Champions League has announced its full line-up of teams for the 2024-season.
Over the past couple of months, each team has announced their squads which include the likes of world number Henrik von Eckermann (Scandinavian Vikings), two-time Longines Global Champions Tour champions Edwina Tops-Alexander (Valkenswaard United) and Scott Brash (New York Empire powered by Lugano Diamonds). Legends John Whitaker (Valkenswaard United) and Christian Ahlmann (Shanghai Swans) are among the big names returning to the circuit for 2024, alongside Simon Delestre (Doha Falcons), Sanne Thijssen (Cannes Stars powered by Iron Dames) and Marco Kutscher (Rome Gladiators powered by ClipMyHorse.TV).
Jan Tops, Founder and President of the GCL commented in a press release from GCL: "We are thrilled to unveil the star-studded line-up of teams for the 2024 season. With unprecedented talent this promises to be a season for the history books. As we continue to push the boundaries of equestrian sport, we invite fans from around the world to join us on this exhilarating journey starting in Doha next week."
