The calendar for the 2024 Longines Global Champions Tour and the Global Champions League team series has been announced today.
The LGCT season will kick off on 29 February with the season opener taking place in Doha, before it moves on to Miami Beach (3-6 April) and Mexico City (11-14 April). The tour then returns to Shanghai (3-5 May) for the first time in four years at a brand new stadium of Shanghai Juss International Equestrian Center. Located at the Expo Park in the Pudong New Area, the centre is China's first permanent professional equestrian competition venue.
The European legs of the tour kick off with the event in Madrid from 17-19 May, followed by Ramatuelle Saint Tropez, Cannes, Paris, Stockholm, Monaco, Riesenbeck, London, Valkenswaard and Rome throughout summer. The finals take place 24-26 October in Abu Dhabi, and the playoffs 20-23 November in Riyadh.
