This week, the Longines Global Champions Tour heads to Monaco for the tenth stage of the 2024-season and the highlight of the show will be the €1.5 million Longines Global Champions Tour Grand Prix du Prince de Monaco.
2022 LGCT Grand Prix of Monaco-winner and current LGCT-leader Max Kühner (AUT) will be competing in Monaco, as will Andreas Schou (DEN) who is currently sitting second on the overall standings. Last year’s Grand Prix winner Julien Epaillard (FRA) will be looking to defend his title in Monaco, while LGCT Grand Prix of Monaco 2021-winner Darragh Kenny (IRL), LGCT Grand Prix of Monaco 2019-winner Maikel van der Vleuten (NED), and 2016 LGCT Grand Prix of Monaco-winner Emanuele Gaudiano (ITA) all will be aiming to claim another victory this weekend.
The star-studded line-up of riders also includes LGCT Championship winners such as Edwina Tops-Alexander (AUS) and Harrie Smolders (NED). Other big names include Simon Delestre (FRA), Roger-Yves Bost (FRA), Jérôme Guéry (BEL), Olivier Philippaerts (BEL), Jessica Springsteen (USA), Christian Ahlmann (GER) and John Whitaker (GBR).
