Press release from Longines Global Champions Tour, edited by World of Showjumping
The Longines Global Champions Tour returns to the glittering Principality of Monaco from 2–4 July 2026 for one of the most iconic and technically demanding stops on the calendar. Set against the breathtaking backdrop of Port Hercule and nestled alongside the legendary Formula 1 pit lane, the eighth stage of the LGCT season promises another unforgettable weekend as some of the world's best horses and riders battle for glory in the Longines Global Champions Tour Grand Prix du Prince de Monaco.
Where Formula 1 tests speed, Monaco's LGCT arena tests absolute precision. Every stride counts in the smallest arena of the season, where razor-sharp turns, unforgiving distances and the electric atmosphere leave no room for error. It is a venue where the finest margins separate victory from heartbreak, and where only the very best thrive under pressure.
Abdel Saïd (BEL), Katrin Eckermann (GER), Max Kühner (AUT) and Edwina Tops-Alexander (AUS) are all among those aiming to capitalise on the unique test Monaco presents.
The strength in depth across this year's field is exceptional. Former LGCT Champion Gilles Thomas (BEL) and Scott Brash (GBR) will be joined by the likes of Christian Ahlmann (GER), Philipp Weishaupt (GER), Pieter Devos (BEL), Denis Lynch (IRL), Niels Bruynseels (BEL), Jur Vrieling (NED), Marco Kutscher (GER), Gregory Cottard (FRA), Julien Epaillard (FRA), Jane Richard (SUI), Yuri Mansur (BRA), Nicola Philippaerts (BEL), Marlon Zanotelli (BRA), Nayel Nassar (EGY), Sanne Thijssen (NED), Jessica Mendoza (GBR), Sergio Álvarez Moya (ESP) and Piergiorgio Bucci (ITA), ensuring another spectacular contest beneath the Monaco skyline.
