Bertram Allen's winning streak continued on Thursday, as the Irish rider won the 1.50 class at CSIO5* La Baule on the 17 year old stallion Romanov (Heartbreaker x Fedor). The Prix Conseil Général de Loire Atlantique saw 16 of the 60 riders going clear against the clock, but nobody could beat the talented Irish rider who set the time to beat at 61.99 seconds.
Home rider Kevin Staut came the closest on Ayade de Septon et HDC (Wandor van de Mispelaere x Belle d'Avril du Mazy), but was a second behind on the time. Another two seconds behind followed Great Britain's Guy Williams on Basic (Berlin x Dutchboy, while fourth went to Harrie Smolders and fifth to Sergio Alvarez Moya.
