Daniel Deusser secured a very popular home win in the youngster tour final in Mannheim today, riding Comtesse vt Ertsenhof Z (Calvary Z x Ogano Sitte). The German rider came in towards the very end of the jump-off in this 1.45-1.50 class open for seven and eight year old horses, that had gone through two qualifiers leading up to the final. Daniel used the eight year old mare`s long and ground covering canter to his advantage, shaving off 0.66 seconds on Katharina Offel`s time - who had to settle for second on the impressive Lord Larry 4 (Lord Pezi x Cordalme).

It was a good day for Stephen Stables, that not only secured the first place but also the third courtesy of Lorenzo de Luca from Italy who rode a blazing jump-off on Halifax van het Kluizebos (Heartbreaker x Fetiche Du Pas).
