CSIO5* Falsterbo Horse Show 2024

Friday's CSIO5* 1.60m Agria Falsterbo Nations Cup at Falsterbo Horse Show in Sweden saw ten teams line up for a battle. After round one, it was the Irish going head-to-head with the Germans – the Swedes hot on their heels – as the eight best teams continued on to the second round.

And, with three clear rounds from Wilma Hellström, Emma Emanuelsson and Amanda Landeblad, the Swedes came back strong in round two, and it took a jump-off against Germany to decide which of the two teams was going to be the winner.

Here, Emma Emanuelsson celebrates a clear round with Canbella Blue PS.

With this photo special, we look back at the action in the second round and the jump-off in the Agria Falsterbo Nations Cup.

Photo © Jenny Abrahamsson/WoSJ. Andre Thieme was not only the anchor-rider for the German team, he was also the Chef d'Equipe. The pressure was on in the second round, a clear would mean a jump-off against Sweden and with faults the victory would go straight to the hosts.

Photo © Jenny Abrahamsson/WoSJ. Sweden was first out in the jump-off, and after four faults for Emma Emanuellson and Canbella Blue PS it was a nervous wait.
