Romain Duguet and Quorida de Treho (Kannan x Tolbiac des Forets) took yet another prestigious victory on Sunday, when they went to the top in the Longines Grand Prix on home soil in St. Gallen. The Swiss rider and the 11 year old French bred mare also won the Hermès Grand Prix in Paris in the middle of April, and continued their fantastic form today taking the top honours ahead of no one else than reigning Olympic Champions Steve Guerdat and Nino des Buissonnets (Kannan x Narcos II).
Both Swiss riders were double clear, but Duguet managed to be 0.77 seconds faster than his compatriot Guerdat. In third place came Ireland's Darragh Kenny on Sans Soucis Z (Surrealist v.h. Paradijs x Voltaire). Fourth was Great Britain's Jessica Mendoza on Spirit T ( Tornado x Carneval Drum) and fifth another home rider – Janika Sprunger on Bonne Chance CW (Baloubet du Rouet x Cambridge).
