CSIO5* Rotterdam 2017
We look back at Friday's FEI Nations Cup in Rotterdam, and first out is the stunning Hector van D'Abdijhoeve waiting for his turn. All photos (c) Jenny Abrahamsson.
Peder Fredricson's Christian K got to step in for H&M All in during the prize giving.
Tasty flowers!
A treat for Rokfeller de Pleville Bois Margot after a double clear.
A nervous wait at the in-gate for Team Patteet.
H&M All In is the superstar that hates the attention; here making a quiet escape before the prize giving.
Harrie Smolders and Don VHP Z delivered a fantastic double clear for the Dutch.
As did Henrik von Eckermann and Cantinero for the Swedes.
Another stand-in for the prize giving was Spring Dark, who took Clarimo Ask's place.
Werner Muff and Daimler over the open water.
Henrik von Eckermann, Peder Fredricson and Rolf-Göran Bengtsson couldn't stop smiling after the win.
Jur Vrieling and the beautiful Vdl Glasgow V. Merelsnest leaving the arena for the second time.
A treat for Laura Klaphake's Catch Me If You Can.
Lorenzo de Luca and Armitages Boy delivered a super double clear for Italy.
Next to go: Tokyo du Soleil.
Marc Houtzager and Sterrehof's Calimero over the a-element of the triple combination that caused so many faults in the second round.
Double clear for Marcus Ehning and Pret A Tout.
The Swiss looked worried - here Steve Guerdat, Martin Fuchs and Christina Liebherr.
The Italians having a close look at their riders.
Rolf-Göran Bengtsson and Clarimo Ask delivered a clear the first time around, but the stallion must have hit himself during the round and was lame leaving the ring. So Sweden only had three riders for round two; still they won!
Another double clear was delivered from Steve Guerdat and the amazing Bianca.
And of course she got treat and attention after a job well done.
