Saturday's biggest winners Kent Farrington and Gazelle had to settle of ninth place after having one down in the first round and then adding eight faults to the result after the second round.

This time around, it was Jur Vrieling and VDL Glasgow van het Merelsnest that ended up just outside the second round.

Elzas took every opportunity to eat some gras; at the prize giving and also when leaving the arena after the jumping. Being the best horse competing for the home country and getting the most applause wasn't enough to disturb.
