Japan has decided not to compete at the final of the Furusiyya FEI Nations Cup in Barcelona the 24-27th of September, which opens the door for the German team. "We were hoping that someone would withdraw so we would be able to compete and luckily that happened," Germany's Chef d'Equipe Otto Becker states to the German Federation.
Becker's plan is to send the team from the European Championships in Aachen - Ludger Beerbaum with Chiara, Daniel Deusser with Cornet d'Amour, Christian Ahlmann with Taloubet Z and Meredith Michaels-Beerbaum with Fibonacci.
