They won yesterday, and today they did it again: Eduardo Menezes (BRA) and the 13-year-old mare Caruschka 2 (Caspar x Continue) took their second victory of the weekend in Barcelona when topping Friday's 1.45m La Vanguardia Trophy.

With a time of 29,17 seconds in phase two of the competition, Menezes beat Guy Williams (GBR) on the 15-year-old gelding Casper de Muze (Triomphe de Muze x Corsaire de Vaubain) by 0.48 seconds. Peder Fredricson (SWE) on the 9-year-old gelding H&M Carat Desire (Carinjo x Latus II) took the third place with a time of 30,02 seconds, while Leticia Riva Gil (ESP) was best for the hosts on the 12-year-old mare Roanne de Mars (Kannan x Galoubet A) to place fourth. Marcus Ehning (GER) on the 9-year-old mare Calanda 42 (Calido I x Chasseur I) finished fifth.
