This week, the inaugural Longines League of Nations™ Final takes place at the Real Club de Polo in Barcelona, Spain.
Brazil, France, Germany, Ireland, The Netherlands, Sweden, Switzerland and the USA have all qualified for the final throughout the 2024-season and will be joined by the host nation Spain.
On the entry list are many big names, such as world no. one Henrik von Eckermann (SWE), world no. two Steve Guerdat (SUI), world no. four Julien Epaillard (FRA), 2024 Olympic Champion Christian Kukuk (GER), 2024 Aachen Grand Prix winner Andre Thieme (GER), 2024 CPKC ‘International’ Grand Prix winner Martin Fuchs (SUI), as well as former world no. ones such as Peder Fredricson (SWE), Rolf-Göran Bengtsson (SWE) and Harrie Smolders (NED). Other legends of the sport on the list include Laura Kraut (USA) and Malin Baryard-Johnsson (SWE).
