The United States, Sweden and Germany — gold, silver and bronze medallists from the World Equestrian Games in Tryon — will compete in Barcelona and try to wrestle the title from Netherlands, winner of the final in 2017.

The competition will begin on Friday October 5th with the first qualifying round, from which the best eight teams will move on to the final on Sunday October 7th. The other ten teams will compete in the Longines Challenge Cup on Saturday October 6th.
