This week, it's time for the annual Longines League of Nations™ Final in Barcelona, Spain. Eight teams have qualified over the course of the 2025-season of the FEI-series Longines League of Nations™. France topped the 2025-standings with 300 points just ahead of Great Britain in second on 295 points, and Germany in third on 290 points. Belgium, Ireland, Italy, USA and the Netherlands are also qualified for the final, while Sweden and Switzerland have missed out after finishing at the bottom of the overall 2025-standings. Additionally, Spain is invited to compete as host nation of the Longines FEI League of Nations™ Final.

Reigning European team champion Belgium sends a strong team consisting of three of their four gold medallists from A Coruña, Spain; Nicola Philippaerts, Gilles Thomas and Thibeau Spits. Joining them is Gregory Wathelet, a stalwart for the Belgian team.

2024 Olympic team champion Great Britain, also a team silver medallist at this year's Europeans, arrives in Barcelona with the best of the best; Ben Maher, Scott Brash, Harry Charles – all on the gold medal winning team at Versailles – as well as Donald Whitaker and Adrian Whiteway – who both have great season behind them – are part of the British squad.

France, who topped the Longines League of Nations™ season standings, will be sending rising star Antoine Ermann, Megane Moissonnier, Olivier Perreau, Olivier Robert and Kevin Staut. The Germans also come strong in force to defend their 2024 Longines League of Nations™-title with Sandra Auffarth, Marcus Ehning, Sophie Hinners, Christian Kukuk and Richard Vogel on the team – the two latter reining Olympic and European champions.
