This week, it's time for the annual Longines CSIO St. Gallen in St. Gallen, Switzerland. The traditional event features a stand-alone Nations Cup this year after having been dropped out of the FEI's Longines League of Nations™-series for the 2025-season. Nevertheless, the show seems to be as popular as ever and nine nations will be fielding strong teams in Friday's CSIO5* Land Rover Discovery Nations Cup: Austria, Belgium, Brazil, France, Germany, Great Britain, Ireland and Saudi Arabia will compete against the host nation.
On the entry list for the show are big names, such as home heroes Steve Guerdat (SUI) – reigning European champion and Olympic vice-champion – and Martin Fuchs (SUI) – currently ranked 6th in the world, as well as 2024 Olympic team champion and world no. 2 Ben Maher (GBR), world no. 7 Max Kühner (AUT), world no. 9 Richard Vogel (GER), 2024 Olympic team champion Scott Brash (GBR) and living legend Marcus Ehning (GER).
