This week one of the most important events in the showjumping calendar kicks off as CHIO Aachen opens it doors to some of the best riders in the world.
On the list of riders is double European and World Champion Jeroen Dubbeldam (NED), reigning Olympic Champion Steve Guerdat (SUI), world no. one Simon Delestre (FRA), world no. two Christian Ahlmann (GER) as well as world no. three McLain Ward (USA). Other big names include Luciana Diniz (POR), Eric Lamaze (CAN), Rodrigo Pessoa (BRA) and Scott Brash (GBR).
Belgium, Canada, France, Great Britain, Germany, Netherlands, Switzerland and USA all field teams for the Mercedes-Benz Nations Cup that takes place on Thursday.
