Spain has been drawn first to go in Thursday's team qualifier at the 2024 Olympic Games. The team qualifier kicks off at 11 AM, and the starting order in Versailles will be as follows for the twenty nations competing:

1. Spain

2. Austria

3. Mexico

4. Switzerland

5. Sweden

6. Japan

7. Poland

8. France

9. Ireland

10. Great Britain

11. Germany

12. Israel

13. USA

14. Netherlands

15. Brazil

16. United Arab Emirates

17. Saudi Arabia

18. Australia

19. Canada

20. Belgium

The team qualifier will be a Table A against the clock (FEI Jumping Rules art. 238.2.1). The course will count 12-14 obstacles and a maximum of 17 efforts, with the fences set to a height of 1.40-1.65m. Teams will be placed by adding together the penalties and time incurred by the three horse-and-rider combinations on each team; there is no drop-score. A pair that is eliminated or retires will not be given a score, and the team score is counted by adding together the time and penalties of the horse-and-rider combinations that completed their rounds. Teams with all three riders completing their rounds will be placed above teams with only two complete rounds. In case of a disqualification of any of the pairs, the entire team will be disqualified.

The best ten teams from the qualifier will move on to the final on 2 August, where they all start over on zero penalties.
