The horses, riders and order to go for Friday’s Olympic team qualifier in Tokyo have been announced, and there are quite a few changes from the individual competitions.
Nineteen teams will be lining up for the qualifier that starts Friday 6th of August at 19.00: Argentina, Belgium, Brazil, China, Czech Republic, Egypt, France, Great Britain, Germany, Ireland, Israel, Japan, Morocco, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Switzerland, Sweden and USA.
The ten best placed teams from the qualifier plus any teams tied on penalties and time for the 10th place, will make it to Saturday's final. Teams that withdraw before the start of the final will not be replaced. All teams taking part in the final start with zero penalties, and the competition is conducted under Table A not against the clock over one round with a jump-off in case of a tie.
