The 2025 Longines FEI Jumping European Championship kicked off on Tuesday morning at Casas Novas Equestrian Centre in A Coruña, Spain, with the first horse inspection.
A total of 90 horses were presented, with 88 of them accepted and deemed fit to compete. Christoph Obernauer’s (AUT) Kleons Renegade (Quintero x Stakkato) and Kim Emmen’s (NED) Imagine N.O.P. (Cassini Gold x Lord Z) did not pass, and have to return for Wednesday morning’s re-inspection.
The first competition of the 2025 Europeans takes place on Wednesday, starting at 15.00 CET, and is conducted over a big Table A course set at a max. of 1.50m and judged under Table C, without a jump-off in the event of equality for the first place.
