The Belgian team for the Longines FEI Jumping European Championship 2025, set to take place at Casas Novas Equestrian Centre in A Coruña, Spain, from 16 to 20 July, has been announced.
The team – in alphabetical order – consists of:
- Pieter Devos and Casual DV Z (Cornet Obolensky x Cicero van Paemel Z, bred and owned by Devos Stables)
- Nicola Philippaerts and Katanga v/h Dingeshof (Cardento x Toledo FSC, bred by Lilliane Vermeulen, owned by Philippaerts, Fam. Lens and AMB Holding)
- Abdel Said and Bonne Amie (A Big Boy x Landfriese, bred by Trooja Hobune OÜ, owned by AS Trading)
- Thibeau Spits and Impress-K van ’t Kattenheye Z (Indokto van ’t Kattenheye x Vagabond de la Pomme, bred by A. Strobbe and T. Raman, owned by Spits BVBA)
- Gilles Thomas and Ermitage Kalone (Catoki x Kannan, bred by Magali Dessalles, owned by Joris Van Dijck)
Which of the five combinations that will only be competing individually, will be decided at a later stage.
Emilie Conter and Portobella van de Fruitkorf (Bamako de Muze x Nabab de Reve) are the first reserves, followed by Jos Verlooy and Parise van den Dael (I Am Moerhoeve's Star x For Passion d'Ive Z).
