The Dutch Chef d'Equipe Rob Ehrens has selected his team of riders for the European Championships in Aachen in two weeks. The Dutch team will consist of the same four riders who won the gold medal in Normandy last year, but two of the horses – VDL Zirocce Blue N.O.P and Glock’s Cognac Champblanc are newcomers on the team.
The team will consist of;
Jeroen Dubbeldam with SFN Zenith N.O.P. (Rash R x Fuego de Prelet)
Maikel van der Vleuten with VDL Groep Verdi TN N.O.P (Quidam de Revel x Landgraf I)
Jur Vrieling with VDL Zirocco Blue N.O.P. (Mr Blue x Voltaire)
Gerco Schröder and Glock’s Cognac Champblanc (by Clearway)
Harrie Smolders is the Dutch reserve with Emerald (Diamant de Semilly x Carthago).
