Horse Sport Ireland has today announced the horse-and-rider combinations that have been selected for the Longines FEI Jumping European Championship 2025, set to take place at Casas Novas Equestrian Centre in A Coruña, Spain, from 16 to 20 July.
The Irish squad consists of:
- Bertram Allen and Qonquest de Rigo (Fantomas de Muze x Indoctro, bred by Ulrik Goossens, owned by Ballywater Stables)
- Daniel Coyle and Legacy (Chippendale Z x Bon Ami, bred by Romain Rotty, owned by Ariel Grange)
- Seamus Hughes Kennedy and ESI Rocky (Stakkato Gold x For Pleasure, bred by Ennisnag Stud, owned by Clare Hughes)
- Darragh Kenny and Eddy Blue (Eldorado vd Zeshoek x Chacco-Blue, bred by Gestüt Lewitz, owned by Carol Sollak)
- Cian O’Connor with Iron Man (Charisma Z x Mr. Blue, bred by Stoeterij Duyselshof, owned by Karlswood Partners) or Bentley de Sury (Sunday de Riverland x Calvaro, bred by Brigitte de Faverges, owned by Karlswood Partners)
